CHATEAU-LIKE INTIMACY
This spacious room located on the ground floor has been named after the Count who first built the palace but did not live to see his masterpiece complete.
Featuring shades of green and blue, the room have been decorated with Cantabrian scenic landscapes, hardwood floors, linen tapestries and modern kilims.
The room opens with a splendid entrance hall featuring an 18th century William & Mary cross cabinet in rosewood on oak, flanked by two Chinese vases. The canopied bed, the hand-made mattress finished in British wool and the 400 thread count Egyptian cotton sheets, silky to the touch, create the perfect sleeping experience.
The bathroom panelling is reminiscent of the classical stone used in this region. It has a shower and a free-standing bath next to a large vintage mirror and gilded basins that evoke a bygone era.
