THE SAILOR’S HAVEN
Old-fashioned elegance meets modern comfort in this atticroom located on the second floor. Spacious, evocative and somewhat daring, this room is a reflection of the Count’s exploratory life.
Swathed in soft, greyish colours, this room has a Cantabrian soul and an islander’s heart. Sleep under a canopy made of crossbeams and wake up with the light of its sloping windows.
The bed, placed under a canopy of crossbeams with a wool handmade mattress and 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton and silk sheets, is absolutely delightful. A comfy contemporary sofa and a flowery French style armchair create a light filled corner next to the writing desk and reading area. The clawfoot bathtub is strategically placed where the beams are at their lowest to provide an intimate shelter for a relaxing bath.

The bathroom has been furnished with a double vanityunit and, like the other rooms, the spacious shower has natural stone walls that evoke Cantabria’s traditional architecture. The entire room is floored in oak wood
